Our national winner to the Free Author Visit contest is:

EXTRA DRAWING: Minnesota Winner

I wanted to be sure that a school in my home state was
rewarded, too, so as a surprise I am adding a Minnesota school
for an EXTRA drawing.
The winner of the Minnesota Schools Only drawing is:
Greenbush & Middle River School
a small school just about as far north as you can go without a passport!

based on a match to randomly generated numbers.

Thirdly, as a Second Surprise award, I wanted to be sure that a school in the New Orleans area received special attention in the coming year so I selected the school where the most faculty responded to the entry forms and that is:
Miller Wall Elementary, in the town of Marrero,
a school very near the Mississippi River, on the outskirts
of New Orleans.
